Shisha, Hookah, Nargilya and Hip Hop in Kazakhstan

I don't know if most you know but shisha in Kazakhstan is probably one of the best in the world, we really took that shit to the next level, with shish men perfecting it until you get the smoothest, tastiest, biggest dragon breath smoke cloud haha on the real though that shit true, any of you fools wanna come to Kazakhstan, whether the capital Astana or the best city in KZ, Almaty ;))) will find that out. 

For most of kazakhs like me, its a way of life and shisha must be good otherwise it is just up-fucking-seting, if we get a chance we will school the shitty shisha man and teach to perfect that smoke. In most restaurant, bars, clubs you can smoke shisha and in best ones it is usually ran by an oligopoly (simple niggas use google) which consists of AST Shisha, Royal Shisha and some other shit, basically they are companies that have the shisha-man and they set up agreements/contracts with the places in order to provide them shisha, I think all they do is split the earnings with the restaurant (50/50 /?).

 There are independent places and I have heard of one in Almaty forgot the name but that place supposedly makes just bomb ass fruitylicious ass shisha's but the setting is not the best, for "golden youth", therefore you find more of the middle class there, but they smoking better shisha (win). 

We will go back to them and discuss the demographics of Kaz society. The shisha movement has been spreading and hit the US quite well, we can hear it in the dope ass mothafucking track an absolute banger "Hookah" by Tyga feat. Young Thug, also been promoted by Drake in a lot of his photos but that fool been smoking with self lit charcoals which are like non existent in Kazakhstan because it is absolute shit, if you smoke with them then don't even talk about shisha being good.

He was a rising star in hip hop, producing and making his own beats and rapping over them. We witnessed a great number of songs, which I absolutely love, when I first found his song Lonely about a year ago I fell in love with the concept 

Lonely - Speaker Knockerz  - auto tuned voice but to the epic level and a beat that went through the roof - it is not known by the public but he started the Or Nah trend. Speaker Knockerz passed away supposedly from a heart attack but it is exactly unknown, the relatives and close friends said it was due to toxic poisoning, he left his car running in the garage and died from the carbon monoxide, others say it was the 'codeine cups' 

either way it is a tragedy, and a great loss

But, yes there is a big BUT, he has shown some borderline homo tendencies (sometimes over the line) and I am not homophobic, but shit we talking rap here and even though there are rumours that many rappers are gay, it gets shot down and none parade about it or make it obvious 

maybe its all a stunt , shit you never know but, lets check some of the shit he has done like wearing women's clothes, painting nails, calling his homies (bird man, rich h.quan, etc) lovers and baby and other shit, in the words of Riley Freeman the Great (boondocks u fools) "Nigga, you gay!" 

…no matter what he is tho, i fucks with his music, it dope af he kills the beat most of the time, and everybody loves him. So do your thing Thugga Thugga and hopefully you won't fall off.

This is probably one of my favourite Kazakh rap songs, and one of the most real tracks out there, a simple song about simple people. The hard knock life our people have to go through day after day, the endless loop of poverty yet they still manage to find a way to make it out of it any way that is possible. It about not losing your values, protecting your close ones, brothers, loving your mother more than anything. and hustling every day. if not in this life, then next one, good people will get their chance.

Hit Boy kills the beat as usual, with Beatboy on the track (OTW track). Some of the new tracks are fresh, giving some new air to breathe for hip hop, I like some of the things they been releasing, the mix tape yes and FWD back but OTW not that much.

The Rise of Kazakh Trap(Drill) Music

I want to talk about the rising scene of Trap music (trap/drill beats) in Kazakhstan and Russia
Trap beats have been more and more common in Kazakh/Russian rap songs, what I am looking into and in some way have been intrigued by the use of American rap trap beats and recently very similar beats and samples to Drill music (Chiraq, check out my earlier post on King of Chicago Rap). It has been sometime I looked into the music of Scriptonite (Скриптонит) a Kazakh rapper from Pavlodar, Kazakhstan (somewhat gutter #rns) first of all shout out to all my Kazakhs, I respect that he is from my country and that he makes rather decent music. That being said, he has been quite viral and his music has spread to Russia, and actually maybe more popular there, due to him rapping in Russian (In Kazakhstan, almost everyone speaks Russian, due to being part of Soviet Union in the past). And Russians like it, they love it haha, from some of the people and comments you can see they enjoy the beats, which I presume Scriptonite himself produced (hopefully, otherwise dont give yourself credit). It gives off the dark, hard, grimey atmosphere he is trying to create, and shit it works. For now I wont criticise the nigga, or should I call him khigga (kaz nigga xD lol) #noracial, I am glad Kazakh rapper has looked into the trap and drill music that has been around for sometime already, and turned it into something the other part of the world can hear, especially Kazakhstan. Shout out to Scriptonite keep doing your thing, but yeah I will be following his work and maybe my opinion will change but so far so good, well thats being too nice, I dont really fuck with all of his songs just the links ill give below, but still proud of the homie doing his things and reppin Kaz and PAVLODAR or aka Pablo-dar ;)

Bird on a Wire can be considered a masterpiece, the flow from Action and Riff Raff (one hilarious motherfucker, just like Keef, he does not give a single fuck) and an absolute execution of the beat by one and only Harry Fraud, this track is so smooth it gives you the chills, real nigga shit. Go into the lyrics and just see the Epicness of Bronson's lines, that fool is a Chef and a Rapper, I will be posting more of his stuff and cooking and all of that, its that Queens shit you know.

Today, 21st of September, I have officially created my first blog SuuuuhWhooop!
Haha all jokes aside it is a kind of a big thing for me, I am not a good writer, so some maybe a lot of the content might not make sense or there will be horrible grammatical mistakes, but it is what it is, I created it for the sake of sharing my interests and things I enjoy and maybe if I am lucky enough lol finding some people that share my interests/hobbies and like it :) if not, still read and critique it do whatever, its the internet.
A lot of posts maybe all of them will be about hip hop, new songs, artists anything to do with rap culture, well because of my deep passion and interest in it. I grew up listening to hip hop and it really stuck with me I guess, it is something I listen to 24/7 and not get tired of.
haha "haters" keep arguing that its all the same, no talent, bla bla bla but all music is the same and in a way recycled but it is not about that, its that each song has a special twist whether it is a beat, the rappers voice, lyrics, even music video, it is something that makes it attractive and if you enjoy rap(hiphop i will mix them from time to time just because it is easier to type) it will be different to you enough to listen to it and give your own opinion on it. Again somethings I will write might not make sense, I will try to go over the blog before I post it (highly unlikely) to try to make sure it make some sense but if it don't, try to get it, if not then release the kraken!!
I literally listen to all types of rap, from Wu Tang (rip ODB) to SpeakerKnockerz (rip young G), my variety is so random its too funny, honestly I think you should try to listen to it all and try to understand see what you like and don't, I think thats the beauty of hip hop it has went through such evolution that you have so many sub groups and diversification that it is truly amazing, therefore I find it very hard to answer questions like "Who is the best rapper ?" I mean how can you answer that?there is so many different types of rap and they all have different categories and strengths, like back in the day it was possible due to rap being not that diverse, but today in my opinion it would not be correct to give an answer to that question, due to it being not that black and white.
As it is my first blog ever, I don't really know how the system works, but it is my page so lol I will just rant and post anything that comes to my head, so be prepared for random things and pandemonium.
